I really love your modules. Being a nutrition scientist, I really appreciate that everything you teach has a sound scientific base. I am still fascinated how Star manages to share her scientifically sound knowledge with us in an easily understandable way. The slides are to the point and filled with examples, which helps enormously to implement the exciting facts into practicable advice for our clients.

Being a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and an Esthetician, going into the course I already had a very good understanding of nutrition and the skin. Skin Nutrition Institute really helped me to tie them both together which in turn helped me to take my business to a whole new level

Skin Hydration 101 reviews
This was a simple scientific course that is a great addition to the skin hydration dilemma.
Julie Leutzinger
This course is so informative! Even when presenting scientific and anatomical information, it says it in a way that is easy to understand and dispels the falsehoods of skin hydration.
Glenna Lloyd
I really enjoyed Skin Hydration 101! I loved learning about the difference between dry skin vs skin dehydration. The course was short, sweet, and easy to understand!
Lori DaSilva
I love the course so much , even those notes are more valuable 🙂
Manisha Kandel
Great to know that I am not crazy when I say ppl need to drink more water instead of buying more HA serums.
Yati Nasir
I loved this course. I now have a deeper understanding of skin hydration and the role moisturizers and water play in hydrating the skin. With this knowledge, I can now guide my clients to achieve maximum skin hydration the right way.
Folayemi Adeyanju
Very practical and useful information
Karen Hidalgo
In a short time you said everything that is relevant and that can be used right away. Thank you
zorana dilber
Star's courses are wonderful! She has a way of teaching that is informative, yet still fun and engaging!
Kimberly Byzewski
Great insight, loved the tiered water content resource.
Emily Becker
I love this info. It's so important for people to know that only using topical products won't give them the healthy, glowing skin they want.
Cat Sullivan
I think it is an eye-opening course ! simple, very informative and practical.
Laura de Altube
Loved how you explained things in simple terms and not so technical.
Feryal Ulusoy
Scientific based nutrition facts, loved to read it.. soon would include in my daily routine . Hoping to do more course in this
Rashmi Chandrasekaran
very informative and confirmed to me that I dont need to spend my money on creams and potions to hydrate my skin. Excellent thank you
Lyn Frowen
I learned things I was not aware of, so quite informative actually!
Gerri Chambers
Filled with enough info to kick-start my hydration goals. Be more grape and less raisIn!
ALINAH
The class is short which is to be expected however I loved it. A lot of short classes out there don't hold as much information. Enjoyed the science excerpts and study facts.
NATHALIE
Clear, useful and applicable right away. Thanks for this brush-up!
Victoria
It's just nice to finally find skin professionals that even think about nutrition being a primary factor in skin health
AMANDA
I learned things I was not aware of, so quite informative actually!
gerri
I think this course is great! It is nice to know the truth about not being able to hydrate your skin from the outside. Moisturizers and creams are made out to be so miraculous. I also love your humor throughout Star! Thank you for this
LILIA
Dietary Sunscreen reviews
I learned consuming flavonoids and phenolic compounds from natural sources has been shown to be more effective than supplementation.
Tiffany C
I finally have more confidence through Star's explanations and scientific proof regarding diet and our relationship to the sun. The sun is not our enemy and we actually must cultivate its benefits, and the missing link that everybody think is the sun's fault for our skin damage is laid in this course. Great Course!
Deasi Srihandi
That using sunscreen alone isn't enough, we have to protect it by eating the right foods as well.
Jessica Luft
That there are so many options to incorporate when eating a whole food diet in order to protect the skin from UV damage alongside using safe sunscreens. It was interesting to note that using a higher sunscreen doesn't mean that one has absolute all-day protection.
Glenna Lloyd
I learned more about the difference between non-malignant vs malignant melanoma.
Gabriela
I learned the concept of broad spectrum protection, intrinsic and extrinsic.
Priti Singh
I have never really thought about what I eat helping to prevent skin cancer, and it's interesting to see that there are more studies about this, as it's not common knowledge yet.
Tabitha
I just loved this. I am a dermatology provider and spend my days talking about the benefits of a diet high in fruits and veggies. This is just more great insights to back up what I preach every day.
Michelle
Which phytochemicals can prevent sun damage
Volha
Very interesting, the link with nutrition and sun protection. It amazes me how many cancer patients are not advised on dietary nutrition to assist with fighting cancer
Gwen Bennet
I didn't know that food intake had anything to do with sun protection, so it was interesting to find out how and what foods or compounds act as an aid in sun protection.
Mary Comerce
What was new to me was that getting the right ratio of Omegas (3 & 6) decreases the risk of specific type of skin cancer.
Angie
I learn a lot from this class. Understanding the link between nutrition and skin health
Aamina
The role of diet in skin cancer prevention. Excellent information for my patients
Wing Yiu Lai
I wasn't aware of the importance of the ratio between omega 3 & 6 in relation to squamous cell carcinoma
Joanna
I learned about the importance of working as a team on the skin, from the inside and from the outside. Address sun protection in a global way.
Cynthia
Collagen Biosynthesis Nutrition reviews
The 'A ha' moment for me was learning that firstly, I do not need to buy any collagen supplements as I can get all the requirements my body needs from eating the right type of foods. Secondly, the real 'a ha' moment was learning that if you take a collagen supplement which states it is for skin, it doesn't mean that our body will use it to regenerate skin, as it needs to be broken down before it can be used, and our bodies then decide where in the body it should be utilised depending on the greatest need.
Amanda
Thank you for the masterclass! It was packed with so much information.
Olga
This class was amazing for learning what foods to incorporate in your diet to improve collagen production and defend against ageing skin!
Caitlin
This masterclass completely transformed the way I think about collagen. My biggest ‘A-ha’ moment was realizing that collagen supplements don’t directly rebuild skin collagen—they’re just broken down into amino acids like any other protein. I also didn’t know how essential nutrients like vitamin C, copper, and even amino acids like lysine and threonine are in collagen biosynthesis.
Madlen
As a women's holistic practitioner, specialising in natural face lift massage treatments, I wanted to learn more about skin nutrition and this course will be so helpful for me to educate my clients. Excellent information, thank you.
Nicola Johnstone
This has been one of my favorite classes. It was really detailed and explained step by step how to prevent collagen loss and all the ways in which collagen is destroyed. Loved the ORAC section as well as the detailed coverage of Glycation Inhibitors. Great class in understanding all the ways collagen is affected by not only diet but also cooking methods.
Donna Zigmantanis
I loved this course, it was packed full of incredible information and I now feel confident to help my clients even more so with their collagen production.
Tabitha
I learned so much that it’s hard to list everything specifically. One thing that stands out is that the omega 6/3 ratio parallels with autoimmune issues. I’m also a certified wellness and fertility coach and I’ve not seen this specifically.
Tonnie Geiser
I am grateful that I now know how "collagen" powder are more hype than anything. It completely makes sense when you learn that it is basically a protein like any other one that just gets broken down and can be used in any manner.
Kendra
For me it was the final scientific evidence that Collagen powder does not do what it says it does. I have had this discussion for so long with many of my friends but now I am armed with all I have learnt from this call I can now say with confidence what we really need for collagen.
Niamh
It was great to learn the biochemical details on collagen biosynthesis (which amino acids and micronutrients are needed to build it). My AHA moment: the explanation why supplemented animal collagen is not necessary
Christina Ehrhardt
There are restrictions regarding educating clients on nutrition in the beauty industry, however, as an esthetic educator there is great value in sharing this information and I am so excited to offer it.
Glenise Gomez
I actually learned a lot more than I thought I would. The process of collagen biosynthesis is so clear now, I can make a picture in my head of everything that needs to happen. Explanation of food influence on our skin health, but not just the skin because we can copy and paste this knowledge on our whole body because mechanism is the same. It will be so much easier to help my own clients :)
Zorana Dilber
I learned the key components of the diet that are necessary to create collagen and prevent breakdown.
Darcie
Being schooled in nutrition, I found the science behind protein and collagen synthesis quite interesting, and at times difficult—which is a good thing! Definitely required some studying and reading additional papers to get a good grasp. I will be revisiting these modules often!
Robynn
Recently, I've been on a quest to understand the differences between animal proteins and plant proteins. There's a lot of conflicting information out there! I had not heard about the amino acid pool and that helps me visualize how proteins are made from not only amino acids in the diet, but also through recycling, and the biosynthesis non-essential amino acids.
Wendy Patrucco
Skin Microbiome Health reviews
Great information and easily digestible! No pun intended!
Abbey Proctor
This was a new topic for me and it was really easy to follow and gave me a better physical understanding of the microbiome.
Donna Zigmantanis
Simply awesome course
Deasi Srihandi
I love delving into more of the scientific reasons behind why our skin issues happen the way that they do, and it was interesting learning about Omega 3.
Tabitha
Great format, I love that you provide the not so technical terms alongside the technical terminology.
Ashley
This quick class on the skin microbiome is essential, I feel, for anyone wanting to learn about the health of the body. The microbiome is everywhere...and we need it! It's time we learn about it!
Robynn
Clear concise information
Gwen Bennet
I've got a lot of new information
Evgeniya
